We think we remember the past correctly.
We often do not.
A photograph or moving film may only show a few aspects of
Truth.
The present is uncertain.
We can only discern part of what is truly happening in this
moment.
Is the future totally uncertain?
Are there hints to what will happen.
Is the future even more complicated.
Do we create multiple Universes with each decision.
Ramana Maharshi says, “That which is not present in deep,
dreamless sleep is not real.”
Nisargadatta Maharaj says, “To be free in the world you must be
free of the world. Otherwise your past decides for you and your future.
Between what had happened and what must happen you are caught. Call it destiny
or karma, but never—freedom. First return to your true being and then act from
the heart of love.”
Yesterday we asked, “Is there Ego’s Breath?’
Today we answer, “There is only Uncertainty.”
Why would you care if there is any “Ego’s Breath.”
Drop everything.
All concerns.
All thought about the Past…
the Future… the Present…
A thought arises…
Let it drift away…
Like clouds…
Thoughts come…
Thoughts go…
