Everything is Real

My wife and I and a close friend participated in a weekend shamanic journeying workshop.

The leader Timothy Cope stated, “everything is real.”

He was speaking about the shamanic or spirit world. 

How you have to respect the beings you may meet in these places. 

This may be a difficult concept for a basic scientist (Heretic!). 

However, I ran across a recent article in Science News regarding how even quantum information is physical.

I had not even known that regular information was felt to be physical!

This of course relates to Einstein’s equation E=mc2.

Energy and mass are interchangeable. 

Since information is energy, then everything is potentially matter, even thoughts. 

Wow! 

For me this relates to how even our thoughts might influence the world. 

 

Perhaps in ways we still are too primitive to understand.
